The Family Shelter Christmas Party

Echoes of “All I Want for Christmas” fill the Advent season. But for some, the practical reality of living in a family shelter overshadows the desire for toys and games during this time of year. Recognizing the difficult realities experienced by children and families in the shelter system, this congregation hosts the Family Shelter Christmas Party for children and their families in the shelter system.

This holiday tradition brings together volunteers, children, and their families for holiday merriment, dinner, and a visit from Santa! Volunteers bring the joy of the season to our guests as they play games, host crafts, serve the meal, and much more.
